This is enjoyable walk using part of Black Fen Waterway and three-quarters of it is beside watercourses. The first part is beside the river to the main road-bridge at Downham Market, where if you walk into the town, refreshments can be obtained. The pub at Nordelph is now closed. The second part of the route is beside dykes and along wide field edges (DEFRA scheme permissive routes) and connecting bridleways.
