Starting near the North Bridge in the fine old town of Wareham, the walk first of all follows the course of the River Piddle to reach West Mills. (A word of warning here, that the path under the road-bridge can be flooded after heavy rain; negotiate with care). The Wareham Forest Way is followed for a stretch and a quiet country road leads back to Wareham, passing the railway station on the way back to North Bridge.

A lovely short walk, ideally combined with a visit to one of Wareham's many historic attractions. It was easy to follow the walk directions and most of the walk was through Dorset countryside, but the return leg by housing and industrial estates was an anticlimax.
