The 3km-long Caukleys Bank is a 100m high ridge of land overlooking the Vale of Pickering up to the North York Moors on one side and overlooking the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Wolds on the other. This short, circular walk from Nunnington takes us up and across the bank before returning to Nunnington. For a longer route this walk could be combined with Walk 7630. There is a cafe in Nunnington - The Old Yard Coffee Shop, but check the opening times via their Facebook page to avoid disappointment.
