This is an enjoyable walk and in springtime cowslips adorn the banks. The route is across fields and along tracks and country lanes. There is a very good pub in Occold.

The 14th Century church of St Mary's, Bedingfield is a gem with its 14th Century porch and inside the fine hammer-beamed roof, 14th Century font and stained glass windows.
