Interesting walk through countryside south of Pangbourne. Owner of Pangbourne College has changed access rules and visitors MUST stick to footpath meaning that current route (WM16/17) has been rewritten. Route now only has 1 stile which can be avoided. Details of the two excellent pubs have been added plus information about getting to the start of the walk by public transport has been added. Enjoy Tony's walk!

As a change from trying to find new areas for my own walks I thought I'd try someone else's and, since much of it was new territory and the weather was just right, this seemed a good bet. It turned out to be a terrific walk, with plenty of interesting features and views. I found one stage didn't quite fit the description but the route was obvious anyhow. My halfway point was around 12:30 - perfect for a little something at The Greyhound. The route through the college was interesting and Berry's Copse was a lovely surprise.
