There are always interesting things to see in the Forest of Dean. As it is ancient woodland, there are plenty of fine deciduous trees. These are home to a variety of birds and these are particularly musical from February on. Mosses provide a carpet and in the spring bluebells are plentiful. Deer as well as sheep roam freely.
