We begin by walking back briefly along the road you arrived on and shortly join a well-signed footpath that takes us through a picnic area and links up with a well-prepared walkway. Leaving this way, we cross the road and enjoy a peaceful ramble through pinewoods to reach the amazing site of Els Molins with its beautifully restored 15th Century windmills. When we can drag ourselves away from this lovely spot high above the harbour of Javea, we continue through pinewoods to pass the monastery. We are soon back on the prepared walkway and now retrace our footsteps past the restored limestone oven. Back at the road, we can take the parallel footpath as we enjoy the stunning scenery all the way back to the lighthouse.
