This is a wonderful circular climb on one of The Trossachs' most spectacular mountains, with stunning views and good footpaths. The walk is an established circular route which takes in Ben Ledi, a significant mountain over 2,700ft high and a popular hill as it enjoys a central location, spectacular scenery and beautiful views. Proper walking gear is essential but paths are in good condition and on the lower slopes at least, well-signposted.

The start point is closed. The detour adds around six miles in total to the walk. Its mainly additional tarmac and mundane forest path. Estimated opening of paths is June 2014. Mountain is wonderful when the real work starts.
