Starting at the community hall in Peldon, this circular walk is a lovely stroll through fields and along some roads within the Essex countryside. This is a very peaceful walk even along the quiet country lanes with an exception of a stretch along a B road.
A few of the paths are not signposted (May 2023) but the instructions and waymark photos will guide you along the correct route. Also the paths within Pete Tye Common don't marry up with the OS map, so just use the clear trodden down paths or you will be walking through long grass.
For refreshments you have The Plough pub at the end of the walk (waymark 23).
