This can either be a 17-mile walk or a seven-and-a-half-mile one, the latter if you use two cars. There is a free car park off East Bank road by Sutton Bridge and you walk Peter Scott's Way along the bank of the saltmarshes to the next car park at Terrington St Clement, or walk onwards along very quiet fenland lanes and footpaths back to Sutton Bridge car park.
If you wish to visit the main part of the village in Terrington St Clement, where there are two pubs, you can either drive or make the walk longer using your own route on the OS Map.
If you have two cars, then you can park at each car park and just walk the Peter Scott's Way, (7.5 miles) a nature reserve, salt marsh walk with panoramic views of the west Norfolk coastline. For the 17-mile option follow the route from the second car park, Waymark 3 along the quiet fenland lanes and footpaths back to the first car park.
