Beginning in the attractive village of Pilar de la Mola, our way takes us northwards through a mixture of timeless Formentera countryside and shady pinewoods. Eventually we reach the lighthouse of La Mola and from there we begin a truly wonderful ramble along a clifftop path as we head south. We enjoy magnificent cliff views and occasional welcome shady glades of pinewoods. Now turning northwards, we emerge from pinewoods to re-enter the peaceful countryside we were in at the start. Soon we pass a wonderfully restored windmill and all too soon, find ourselves back at Pilar de la Mola.
