Pinchbeck is a small village just north of Spalding and is surrounded by rivers and drainage channels, many dating back centuries to the time the Dutch applied their knowledge of these matters to the wet Fens. The result is waterways with high banks, which are very well maintained by the Environment Agency. This walk takes advantage of these and heads out along a section of the Macmillan Way(s) to turn back along the River Welland at Fosdyke Bridge.

Completed this walk on 18 August 2019 - Section between points 7 and 8 very awkward as very overgrown in places, I would recommend long trousers and covered arms if you intend to take this on. Not one of my favourite walks but pleased I completed it with my Brother-in-law.
