This delightful circular walk begins outside a medieval guildhall in a quiet Cornish hamlet, before guiding us through tranquil lanes and countryside with ever-changing coastal views. After a couple of kilometres through woodland, we briefly take to a country lane before more farmland takes us down to the North Cornwall Coast Path, which we follow for about four kilometres. Another small section of road leads us to another stretch through farmland to return to the start. Our walk also includes a choice of two beaches, one rugged and the other sandy, where there is time to take a breather and maybe enjoy a picnic, before continuing this scenic walk, which concludes where we began at Poundstock.

Wonderful walk for any time of the year. Easy to follow. Slightly more strenuous than we were expecting, which was a bonus.

There is now a large free car park at the top of the hill in Poundstock. You will see it on your left before you reach the church and a sharp left hand bend. Recommend using this rather than driving down to the Guildhall, where there is only space for about 3 cars.

Walked May 2007 and all fine. There is a new bridge at waymark 7 so no need to use the stepping stones.
