The walk is an easy circuit of four of the lakes in the Jura. It takes you well away from roads, providing opportunities for picnicking and paddling and feeling that you are deep in the countryside. Depending on the time of day (and the season) there are flowers, butterflies and birds – although on a summer afternoon they will mainly be buzzards.
