Starting at Raydon in Suffolk, this circular walk mainly consists of field-paths, bridleways, quiet country lanes and also includes a long stretch on a bridle-path beside a golf course and a walk along a disused airstrip. Due to a few paths that are not maintained, you take a short detour through an industrial estate where there is a cafe which is open to the public. En route you will also pass through three villages, passing a pub in Great Wenham which is only open at certain times (see additional information) and a short stretch through Binny's Wood. This is a very peaceful route due to hardly any traffic on the lanes, so is an ideal family walk.
