The outward route along Offa's Dyke Path is all climbing as far as The Kymin, but the views make it all worthwhile. From there, Offa's Dyke Path drops down through woodland, with great views of Monmouth and the Welsh Mountains. The last few miles are along the banks of the River Wye.
