This circular walk starting in the town of Romford in East London has a lot of variety along the route, passing through the boroughs of Havering and Barking and Dagenham. Either at the start or the finish you can browse the numerous shops within Romford town centre, incorporating a large indoor shopping area. En route you will pass through a golf course, urban parks, a country park with a visitor centre, a nature reserve and also you can browse the shops at Dagenham East.

All the roads walked were quiet residential roads, only having to cross a couple of busy roads via pelican crossings.

The section through the Chase Local Nature Reserve between Waymarks 31 and 34 requires careful navigation as there are no marker-posts and can get quite boggy, but following the directional arrows on the waymark photos you should be fine.

Refreshments can be found at the start and also at the visitor centre at Waymark 19, The Pipe Major pub at Waymark 28 and the cafe at the boating lake in Harrow Lodge Park,Wwaymark 38. A perfect family walk throughout the year.
