This is an extension of Walk 251 (The Fairy Glen) for those with more time (or more energy). It explores the Fairy Glen, then goes along the Millbuie (the spine of the Black Isle) before descending the cliff of the Glen More fault to the beach, where beachcombing and dolphin-spotting may be practised in the 3km return to Rosemarkie. The path in the Fairy Glen is very good; the Millbuie section is on a quiet country road; and the path down to the beach is narrow but good (the bordering bracken can be waist-high from July). There are fine views all the way on a very pleasant family walk (with dog). Boots are recommended. Refreshments etc are available in Rosemarkie. Buses run from Inverness.
