This is an enjoyable walk, with the paths in good order and well-signed; there are no stiles en route. Rumburgh has a fascinating history and Sir David Frost's ancestors are buried in the churchyard. The popular Rumburgh Buck is an excellent place to have a meal and is open seven days a week.

On instruction 2 at Bloom Hall barns, the footpath you are supposed to take has been ploughed over and planted up so is not passable. You can carry on farther and work your way round but some of it is quite muddy.
