Save Our Footpaths - get off the beaten track, this circular walk is along footpaths which are not often used. Most of the stiles are in good order and some are quite new, and if you need some peace and quiet, this is the walk for you. Some parts are along quiet country lanes with very little traffic. There will be two small fields of crops to cross, the others are all grass meadows, and some are likely to have cows or sheep. A shorter route to Philo House is on the map but it has a blocked path, so don't attempt to try it; use the longer route described. Other footpaths have been slightly re-routed by farmers, and you will even find one kissing gate.

The walk is probably suitable for children, senior citizens and anyone in-between. Poor for dogs as most stiles are not dog-friendly, and hopeless for wheelchairs and buggies. Suitable footwear will be anything flat soled and stout, but boots will be best and there should be few problems for anyone wearing shorts. Some stiles may have thistles and brambles to prune, so taking some small secateurs may be useful. On your route there are no facilities of any kind.
