Save Our Footpaths - get off the beaten track, this circular walk is along footpaths close to Chester which are not often used. However, the route is flat and easy to follow but there are few short, overgrown sections. You may come across some cows; and will need to cross some fields of crops so this walk is best avoided in winter when the fields may have been ploughed. The stiles and bridges are in reasonable order but may be a little overgrown. This is not the most scenic of walks but is a good choice for somewhere different to go for some rural exercise. The return route is along a bridle path, easy to follow but also rarely used.

The walk is probably best suited for teenagers, senior citizens and anyone in-between. Good for dogs, but hopeless for wheelchairs and buggies. Suitable footwear will be anything flat soled such as strong trainers or stout shoes, but boots will be best and essential in winter. Avoid wearing shorts as there are some nettles and brambles to negotiate and taking some small secateurs would be useful. On your route there are no refreshments, picnic tables, bench seats or any other facilities.
