Starting from the Plaça de Aragon on the northern outskirts of San Antonio, we begin by rambling north-west through pinewoods before heading more westerly through woods and lovely open country as we make our way coastwards. Eventually our path brings us to the picturesque and tiny Cala Gracioneta with its lovely sandy beach and crystal-clear waters. From here we follow a rocky coastal footpath round the headland to bring us to the larger but equally lovely Cala Gracio. Once again we follow a rocky footpath hugging the water's edge (though there is a simpler alternative if you choose) which brings us to the rocky foreshore leading back to San Antonio. We pass the old aquarium open between 1 May and 1 November (see additional information). Now we have only to wander back along the foreshore before turning off onto a street that will bring us back to the Plaça de Aragon.

My thanks to walkingworld members Elaine and Tony Cornish for walking and providing updating information for this one in November 2017. There are no navigational changes and the walk remains a very attractive one. Jim Arymar
