Beginning outside the picturesque old church at San Lorenzo, our way takes us westwards a little before we climb the slopes of Puig d'en Toni Mossons through pine forest. At the crest we pick up a narrow and quite steep footpath that will bring us down the other side of the Puig, from where we will ramble through lovely countryside to reach and cross the road to San Joan. Now we begin a ramble that takes us to the edge of the Serra Grossa, meandering through timeless Venda Codolar. Crossing the Es Figueral road, we continue south through the Plana d'en Miguelet. There are a couple of options in this stage to shorten the walk by between five and six kilometres (see additional information). Eventually we wend our way to cross the San Joan road again and here we can take a break at Bar Torres - provided it is not a Sunday. The final stage takes us in a northerly direction, once more in peaceful and unspoilt country, to return to San Lorenzo. NB: if you are a Walkingworld app user you may need to print off a copy of the map if you wish to see the routes of the short cuts.

Walked in April 2019. Due to track closures I have had to reroute the walk a little and there is an updated map.I have sharpened the descriptions in places. Essentially the walk is unchanged and remains a beautiful timeless Ibiza country ramble. It is long but there are a couple of marked short cuts available. Highly recommended. Jim Arymar
