We begin by following the same route east of the town as that in Walk 4211. However, after a few metres along the San Joan road we turn off to head south through lovely Ibiza country, ablaze with wildflowers in spring. Our way undulates through woods and open areas until we reach the open country of Pla Roig. Here we turn northwards to begin our return leg before, all too soon, we rejoin our outward route and have only to retrace our footsteps to San Miguel.
