From San Miguel our route takes us through timeless wooded countryside as we make our way downwards to Puerto San Miguel. The views are breathtaking and in spring the fields are ablaze with the vivid colours of wildflowers. At San Miguel our path takes us to the popular sandy beach where there is the opportunity to relax, perhaps take a dip in the clear blue water and enjoy a drink or a meal in one of the beachside restaurants. Later we begin to climb up the quiet road towards Benirras and soon have the chance to visit the Cave of Can Marça. Continuing up, we soon reach the level at which we begin to wend our way back towards San Miguel. Now we pass through beautiful Ibiza countryside with lovely views and the prominent fortified church of San Miguel up ahead. All too soon we reach our outward route and have only to retrace our footsteps to return to our start point. Allow plenty of time for this walk.
