Leaving from Santa Eularia's sports complex, our ramble will take us through unspoilt countryside with the opportunity to visit some important features from Ibiza's ancient agricultural patrimony. There are breathtaking colours, wonderful old fincas (farmhouses) and gorgeous scenery. There is the opportunity to divert briefly to enjoy the hospitality of Carmen's country shop and bar, where you can sample some vin payes (powerful stuff!) and visit the beautiful agroturismo hotel Atzarro at the cost of an extra kilometre or so. There are rather a lot of twists and turns, hence the number of waymarks. This is an easy walk, one to enjoy at your leisure.

We did this walk twice late September 2016, we printed the directional map to take with us and found it to be spot on,walking through open farmland to the old mill was a delight and then through woodland providing much needed shade. The well is a nice place to stop for a while and we were very surprised to see a huge turtle in the old water tank that must have been there for years and as soon as it heard us it descended into the murky depths. Stopped at Carmen's for home made cake and coffee and she is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the old bar is like stepping back in time. There's a bit of road walking at the end but still pleasant, and it's a shame you can't walk around the fenced off reservoir as we spotted some birds of prey using the thermals above it. Looking forward to doing the walk again in 2017 and thanks Walkingworld for finding and posting it.

Nice walk to start of with arriving in Ibiza. Not too much heights gain, country and some pine forrest scenery. The start and finish are a bit boring, but after 3 km that changes.

Well planned walk with good directions. The scenery was not very inspiring although the fine villas were worth the walk. The oil press is very overgrown and difficult to access.
