The walk starts in Seaham picnic car park, North Road, Seaham SR7 7AG, Grid Ref: NZ 42178 50802 and is a 9km-long circular walk. It goes past Seaham Hall and a 6th Century Saxon church and then on to the small village of Seaton, where it joins the old railway line down to Ryhope and then along the coastal path back to the car park from where we started.
