From the parking area next to the little visitors' hut, our way takes us up the valley on a fairly broad track until we reach the point called Toma de Agua, which is the point at which water is occasionally abstracted for human consumption. From here we climb up to follow a narrower path which is a little rocky in places and requires care. Soon we reach a junction, at which point there is the option to divert to climb to the Pico de Rocigalgo at 1,449m. This is the highest point in the park. From this point this walk continues to the waterfall a few steps on. We return by the same route, enjoying the beauty of the opposite perspective.
