Beginning from just off the CV 749 access road, our way takes us down a delightfully easy track to reach the imposing Font de Bernia. At this point there are other more ambitious options but our way continues along a footpath that will take us down to the bottom of the valley with the grandeur of the Serra above us to our right. We meander along wide tracks, passing through a cluster of charming rustic farmhouses before we begin a steady climb that brings us up to the CV 749 road – the same one we drove up on from Xálo. Now we finish by walking along this quiet mountain lane for 2.7km, enjoying the splendid views if not the steady climb. At the end we go left and return along a tarmac lane to our start point.
