This walk was originally contributed by Martin Griffiths. Since then, a section of the walk which was on permissive paths has had the permission withdrawn. It has now been completely rerouted and rewritten. The walk begins along field paths to Henley Street, and then turns north to Cobham. From Cobham we enter Cobham Park with its curious mausoleum and dense woodland. Then a short walk takes us down to Cobhambury Wood, on to Henley Street and then back to the start at Sole Street. There are just three stiles on the route – all of them easy.

A truly lovely walk!! Two observations regarding point 5; i)The 'blue post' no longer exists so a little care at this crossroads is needed, ii) the 'kissing gate' at the bottom of the steep decline is currently blocked by a fallen tree but with a bit of effort the tree can be climbed over. This might be quite difficult for older people or people with some physical problems.

22/7/2009 A lovely walk but necessary now to note that the tracks between point 16 and 17 are not available as they are on private property and heavily fenced off.

All the burnt out cars have now disappeared, so it makes the walk a little hard to navigate by.
