This enjoyable rural walk has good paths and no stiles. The villages of Spexhall and Wissett are ancient ones. The Plough Inn in Wissett welcomes walkers and if in a party would they ring beforehand to give them the numbers: 01986-872201. There is a good selection of dishes on the menu. The inn is now open all day every day.
