This circular walk follows good tracks through Glen Dye from the ruin of Spital Cottage, leaving the Water of Dye after a couple of kilometres to head over moorland with views of Clachnaben and surrounding heights. The path descends once more into the wooded valley before returning to the car park.
A variety of wildlife has been seen in this area, including merlins, buzzards, curlews, snipe, wheatears and mountain hares.
