From picturesque and interesting little St Mawgan village our way takes us westwards along peaceful farm lanes, footpaths and one unavoidable 100m stretch of B Road to the village of Trevarrian. From here a permissive footpath brings us up to the SW coastal path above Beacon Cove and we now have a scenic ramble along to Grange Point where we descend steeply into the little surfing resort of Mawgan Porth with its lovely sandy beaches, pub and cafes. From Mawgan Porth we head eastwards and are soon walking along an easy track and footpath that brings us to the lane leading back to St Mawgan. We cross and enter a little area enclosing the delightful Off The Path outdoor seasonal café and from here we take the wooded footpath that will eventually bring us directly back to St Mawgan.
