Leaving St Neots town centre via the main bridge over the Ouse, the walk heads up to farmland across the very busy A1, via a tunnel with some unusually professional graffiti. The impressive Bassmead Barns, an exclusive wedding venue is en route. Long, very open, sections on excellent grassy margins brings us back to the Ouse Valley and a riverside walk, before reaching St Neots again.
