From the lovely village of Standlake, this wonderful walk goes to the lakes and nature reserve of Standlake Common, a haven for wildlife. The route follows the River Windrush for part of the way and joins the Thames Path for a delightful section before field-paths are taken to reach Northmoor.

Waymark 5-6 was very muddy and bounded by barbed wire when we walked it March 2007. At Waymark 9 the path at 'bear left' is invisible and the field was very wet.  After metal gate the turn is left not right.
