The park is popular at weekends with dog-walkers, cyclists and anglers but the area to the north is less well-frequented, although very well-signposted.

We did this walk on a lovely sunny day after several weeks of dry weather & really enjoyed it. It can probably be somewhat muddy in parts in wetter weather. Great for our dogs - off the lead most of the time. Quite a few horses if you have dogs likely to chase them!
