Starting at the entrance to Stratford station and Westfield shopping centre in East London, this circular route has a lot of variety along the route. Walking along the Capital Ring path you pass the London Stadium which is now home to West Ham United football club. After following this path for some time you shortly join a lengthy section beside a canal (River Lee Navigation) passing moored up barges and refreshment outlets before entering Hackney Marsh recreation ground. After exiting the grounds you eventually pass through Leyton Jubilee Park where refreshments are at hand at the community cafe, and after a couple of roads where you pass the new Spitalfields Market, you enter the Olympic Park, before finally making your way back to the station and Westfield shopping centre with it's huge array of shops and food outlets.

There are two short sections along main roads where you pass Spitalfields Market but each have a roadside path so traffic is not a problem. All paths were clear and signposted (August 2023).
