This station to station walk starting in East London is a real gem. There is so much to see, visit and do on this walk, with refreshments close to hand via cafes, numerous pubs and towards the end, restaurants. If you like taking photos, don't forget your camera for this one.

At the start you get a chance to visit Westfield shopping centre in Stratford with its 320 stores including many food outlets. Then you pass the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (now known as The London Stadium) which held the Olympics in 2012 and is now home to West Ham Football Club. After a short stretch along the River Lea Navigation, you soon pass through two sections of the beautiful Victoria Park with its lakes and cafe before exiting and joining a two-mile stretch beside Regents Canal to Limehouse Basin admiring its vast array of barges on the way. From here you will follow the back streets of London, passing a few pubs, various buildings of interest and sections of the Thames Path with excellent views across the River Thames. Shortly you arrive at St Katherine's Dock (Central London's only marina) with its array of very expensive boats, restaurants and flats that skirt around the dock. From here you rejoin the Thames Path going under Tower Bridge to walk beside The Tower of London,passing its unique souvenir shop to arrive at London Bridge. Here you leave the River Thames to make your way to Liverpool Street Station via a few roads, passing shops, pubs and Leadenhall Market along the way.
