Strathpeffer is a most interesting village, based on its history as one of the most important spas in the country (see Additional Information). So although this walk is only 5k in length you can spend a pleasant day on a voyage of discovery here.
The walk is generally on good paths (one boggy bit) and is quite well-signposted. A (rotating!) chair enables a 360-degree panorama from the viewpoint. There are lovely views across the mountains of central Ross-shire and down into Strath Conon. Boots are advised; a good family walk and dogs love it.
