This circular route starting in the market town of Sudbury is a stunning walk with excellent views all round. At the start or finish you also get a chance to browse the shops within the town centre, and on certain days, the market too.

The walk follows some beautiful paths through nature reserves and a lengthy stretch along a beautiful enclosed path beside woodland. All the country lanes are very quiet with just a 200 yard section along the footpath beside a busier road.

There are a couple of churches to visit along the way, and for refreshments, you have the pubs in Sudbury Town Centre, and also The Mill Hotel at waymark 6 and The Fox pub at waymark 16 in Bulmer Tye. There are also some excellent places to stop along the way to consume your own refreshments, with plenty of benches and a few picnic tables at certain points.

All the paths walked were clear and signposted (May 2023) with a possibility of a few that could get quite muddy in the winter months.
