Starting at Sudbury station or Borley church if coming by car, this circular walk starts in Suffolk and passes through the Essex countryside before returning through Suffolk. The walk consists of a lengthy section of the Stour Valley Path before following country lanes through the village of Borley. From here you pass through the grounds of Eyston Hall and follow more lanes, field paths and a long section along a single-track lane before returning to Sudbury town centre, where you can browse the shops before returning to the station.

Between waymarks 9 and 13,the footpaths are not signposted, but by observing the directional arrows on the waymark photos, it wont be a problem. Apart from one slightly overgrown path (waymark 4) all others were fine (September 2023).
