The final section in this series of four walks, really does follow the coast for much of the way or at least the rivers which parallel the actual coastline a short distance away and within sight.
History buffs will enjoy the string of martello towers, some unoccupied, some converted to dwellings. The radar site at Deben Ferry is currently closed for refurbishment. Do read the access notes for this section, though, as the walk may be complicated by the Deben Ferry operation.
The last leg brings us into Felixstowe at the pier and town centre.
