Suffolk Coast and Heaths Walk: Sizewell to Chillesford

This section is a delight and is more varied than some other lengths of the Coast and Heaths Trail. Initially following the coast along the dunes and beach, the route then swings inland just before Aldeburgh and takes the historic Sailors' Path to Snape Maltings. The southern shore of The Alde is followed before again turning inland through Tunstall Forest, to finish at the village of Chillesford.
