This walk descends gradually along easy footpaths to the River Wensum. Walking alongside the river there is an opportunity to see many river residents. The Church of St Mary is on the other side of the river before turning away and returning to the start point. Much of the walk is on grassy paths and tracks and only the last section is on a quiet country road.
There is an alternative at Waymark 8 to return via Waymark 3 and retrace your steps, which avoids the road but does not go by the pub. There are no stiles on the route.
