As other contributed mentioned, it all starts to unravel at point 10. We had an OS map and managed to navigate back but got pretty lost and walked about 3 miles extra. First part was lovely and really clear- would be really good if a volunteer could sort out last third of walk because we all got pretty frustrated with missing footpaths!

Beautiful walk passing through woods strewn with wild garlic on the way to Lydbrook. However since the route was last reconnoitered there have been some substantial changes made to the footpaths. This was especially a problem at point 10 where the footpath before the central bakery or the bakery for that matter no longer exists and after doing a bit of map reading found our way to point 11. Walking on from point 11 the stile mentioned has been boarded up. Finally at 14 the footpath to the left no longer exists and we had to walk along a very busy road to get to the car park. Despite the problems listed it was a very enjoyable walk
