Taganana - Playa del Tamadite - Afur - Taganana

Starting from the village of Taganana, the route climbs through the village to reach a path that runs along the hillside with views down to the sea. The path descends to a small beach, then climbs up a river gorge with (unusually for Tenerife) some running water. Passing through the village of Afur, the route follows a road for about a mile before a further stiff climb over the pass to return to Taganana.
