WE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED THAT THE RETURN LEG OF THIS WALK HAS BEEN CLOSED DUE TO SUBSIDENCE. BUT IT CAN STILL BE WALKED OUT AND BACK, RETURNING BY THE OUTWARD ROUTE.

A circular walk with miles of stunning scenery. Starting from the rugged area of Talland Bay we climb steeply to enjoy fantastic views over the coast and country at every pause for breath. After about 3km we descend into the picturesque fishing village of Polperro. After exploring the village (allow plenty of time to look around and take photos) and perhaps having a meal of freshly caught fish, we climb steeply again to return along the rugged coast path back to Talland Bay with new spectacular vistas at every bend.

A couple of points to note. The coast path is now partly closed. From Polperro you can walk as far as point 13 and then you divert up to the road near point 3. Secondly the car park charge has increased to £4.50 all day or £3.50 for 3 hours. However you can park for free on the road if you get there early enough.

Attempted this walk on 14th October 2010 but the Coast path is closed for the return leg due to subsidence.

July 2005 - Easy to follow directions with wonderful views from cliff path and good inland scenery. easier to start walk from Polperro due to narrow lanes to Talland with limited parking.
