5/26/2019 - Marilu Peries

This was a beautiful walk. Part of the footpath was closed according to a notice, until end of July 2019, but it has reopened early. It took us a while to orientate ourselves to the start of the walk, some more descriptions and waypoints might be helpful. But otherwise the instructions while on the walk were very clear and the views were well worth the long climb at the start! Really enjoyed the end if the walk, along the old railway line, very pleasant. Note that the footpath around the power station has been rebuilt and moved slightly but it was easy to follow. For dog walkers - there are sheep (and wild goats!) free grazing throughout the walk so take care.

This is a great walk - I've now done it twice in different company, and all have enjoyed it. Many thanks to Caerwyn Edwards. Unless you take the train back, it's about 10.5 miles. Rob Day
