Save Our Footpaths - get off the beaten track, most of the last footpath on this circular walk is very rarely used. There is nothing special about this stroll except for the ease and simplicity of it, and the footpaths should be firm all year round. The route is mainly along good paths or tracks and you should not get lost, but note that the wavy footpath taking you over meadows near the end of the walk is actually in a straight line. The photo on the right shows a cabbage field on the famous Baker Way, although by the time you arrive they will probably have gone. This section of the route may be a bit muddy in winter. The footpaths, stiles and footbridges are all in good order; although in a couple of places there are rather high steps on the stiles and a couple of fences are a bit wobbly. At some times during the year you are likely to come across sheep and some nosy cows so take a walking stick to fend them off if you have one.

The walk is probably suitable for all children, senior citizens and anyone in-between. Excellent for dogs, but hopeless for wheelchairs and buggies. Suitable footwear will be anything flat soled but boots will be best in winter, and there should be no problems for anyone wearing shorts in summer. On your route there are no facilities of any kind.
