The village of Taucho is high above Adeje. The walk starts in a steep barranco, then crosses open country before reaching the pine forest. After winding through the forest you come to the lip of the Barranco del Infierno, with thousand-foot cliffs and spectacular views. Take care on the path as you descend into the barranco, then climb out and walk around terraces to the bar in Ifonche. Leaving the forest, the return route crosses a rock pavement to a viewpoint with views across western Tenerife to La Gomera.

Spain - Canary Islands - Tenerife - Tenerife

Enjoyable walk and well described. As of 25th Feb ‘19 parts of the first section from the starting point are pretty overgrown. Wish I’d worn long trousers and sleeves for that bit!
